Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Jamie Spickelmier is a native of Henderson and Las Vegas since 1964. He graduated from Basic high School in 1982, back when Henderson only had one high school. Dr. Spickelmier started college in 1983, and attended UNLV from 1983-1987, and Walla Walla College from 1987-1988, in Walla Walla, Washington. Dr. Spickelmier started Chiropractic School in October of 1988, and graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1992, with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, Bachelors of Science Degree, and a minor in English Communications. In October of 1992, Dr. Spickelmier received a license in the State of Nevada to practice Chiropractic.

In addition to Chiropractic Health care, Dr. Spickelmier is trained in Functional Medicine, also called Preventive Medicine. The practice of Preventative Medicine focuses on Finding Nutrient Deficits using blood test, teaching patients how to eat and what to eat, and explain how to do interval exercises for the most dramatic results. Dr. Spickelmier teaches his patients that the Human Body is pre-programmed to heal itself, provided that it has plenty of vitamins and minerals, good fats, proteins and carbohydrates to work with. Dr. Spickelmier uses Organic Whole Food Supplements from Standard Process and Herbs from Medi-Herb to help the body heal itself. Dr. Spickelmier has invested thousands of hours in both training and hands on experience in Clinical Practice reversing Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer, Thyroid Disorders, Hormone Imbalances in both Female and Male patients, Auto-Immune Diseases, Osteoporosis, and many more disorders caused by Lifestyle Choices and Nutrient Deficiencies.

Dr. Spickelmier is thoroughly trained in Blood Test Interpretation for micro-nutrient deficiencies, Saliva testing, Hair Analysis, Food Allergy Testing, and Stool Analysis. Dr. Spickelmier is Board Eligible for the American Board of Clinical Nutrition, and will finish a three year program in Internal Medicine for Chiropractic Physicians practicing Preventive Medicine. Dr. Spickelmier will be sitting for the American Board of Chiropractic Internists in 2014.
